Yes, Indeed! One of the (if not THE) greatest dis-services Firaxis/Atari have done to the Civ community is to allow such TERRIBLE "Strategy Guides" be published.

I should know, for like a FOOL, I bought them both (for Civ3 & PTW).

The timing/quality balance was ... well, let's just say I was SEVERELY disappointed!

I bought them too, but I knew they would not be helpful. I just have to have the guides for all of my games, even Ascendancy.

, that remains to be seen , infogrames has the tendency to put games now in dvd boxes in europe with reduced manuals , ......

lets hope it aint the case for conquests , .....
