Here's a tidbit I noticed and meant to comment on, but forgot:

Holy ****! That changes things quite a bit, especially in MP. I think of the PTW Democracy Game (I)... if Vox Controli's Immortals could have healed while in Gathering Storm territory, dislodging them from their mountain perch would have been really, really bloody. Instead, under the PTW rules, we were able to bombard them to 1hp and take them out rather easily.

Any insight on that change from the Beta testers? As in, like, WHY?

The rate is very slow. As in, slow enough that on the timescale of the Vox invasion (5 turns at peak action?), there would have been very little difference in the final outcome.

If Vox had Battlefield Medicine, though, we in Gathering Storm would have had a real problem on our hands.

do elites heal faster than veterans, which heal faster than regulars?
or do all have the same chance. eg. ~20% chance per hit point?

Any info on the amphibious multiplier?? Is it x2 or x1.25???
