That didn't take long.

I hope you're enjoying yourself. That stone must be cold.

Hmmm. You're right, the thread about MikeH's antics, Ashers antics, and the like just don't exist there. Just figments of my feverished imagination.

I didn't say that there was nothing about apolyton there

just that it was not all, or even mostly, or even having large ammounts of posts devoted to apolyton

there are a few posters (myself and asher being two fo the main ones), who post both places

but there are a number of posters who never post ehre (but use to long ago), and a few who have never posted here

I mean, only 5% fall under that category on the front page

and I would bet that a smaller percent is true if you count all the threads

That is correct... most of the people don't care or don't want to even know what's going on over here at CG.

The only time poly really pops up there is when the banned go there to whine, or people gloat for something that they did here... in both cases... not very mature

What I like is, with the exception of a few threads, most people tell them to go away and whine somewhere else

Usually I stack my Samauri avatar up against anyones, but it really pales in comparison to Mings

Well, my posting here is proof that this Off-Topic forum sucks you in. Here am I am work and before I check my email, converse with co-workers, contact my customers -- I'm here following up on my posting from last night.

I should cross post this message on the thread "What have you done to get out of work"

I take umbrage with your clearly unschooled and unsophisticated position that trolls must lower themselves to the discourse of the public. For are not trolls called to a higher path in controlling the discussion rather than being a mere subject? Such superior standing ought to be reflected in every statement scribed by the truly tutored troll.
That's an awfully expensive lure for such a cheap rod-n-reel.

Lancer, you never filled me in on the details of all that. Did you find her father?

No. My girlfriend's Catholic, I'm not. I want to honour what she believes for the next while, as a way of showing how much I love her.

Not really - management is careful not to draw attention to us i.e. if you use the "new Posts" function, new OT posts are not listed.

We're like the idiot cousin hidden away in the house.

My ass! My very first thread on Apolyton was spammed to death by the ancient trolls of the OT. And what were they doing? They were trying to pull me on over. In fact, I think you were one of 'em, AH!

Well it was over two years ago. There are certain things that stick in my mind. Third day on 'Poly and I'm banned for a week with a 100% PCR. Don't worry, I don't hold grudges.
