sometimes it can get a bit extreme with the trading and such. I always play the biggest map with 16 civs and there isn't alot of luxury goods to go around. I guess the only positive side I can see in this is that there are alot of world wars happening towards the later end of the game which makes for some great fighting.

I've only been playing one epic game pre-patch... but from that, and from anecdotes I'm picking up here, it feels like there is a lot more AI warring goin' on. Hmmm...

Probably, but it will also make a more interesting game. How often is the only KAI the one civ your are playing?
