Events in scenarios?
Just wondering if Firaxis is ever going to put that Civilization 2 - Fantastic Worlds style event script into Civ3... you know, the way you could script some things to happen when certain things happen in the scenarion. For example capturing Paris gives you 300 gold or killing a Fenix bird creates a new one on a volcano located at x,y.

Rumors, ideas, anything?
I've been just dying to get some sort of script engine since regular Civ 3 but haven't seen anyone mentioning it anywhere...

It's been mentioned several times by Firaxis that events scripting won't be possible in Civ 3. It sounds like they would have to rewrite the code for the game, which they probably won't do.

yeah, going to wait for possibly civ4 to get scripting.
