At the time of posting 'whiners' is polling quite highly.

Now why is that. That 's just ridiculous. That shouldn't even been allowed in the poll as an option. No other forum would tolerate it and while I am at it........

Possibly. Possibly not.

Asher's name still does not come up in a search of the member directory, so that means he's still banned.

Why do you need him back so badly? Are you his boyfriend? Please enlighten us as to what we are all missing with him gone?

And we'll no longer get to watch someone argue a point defiantly and endlessly after they've lost the argument, trashing anyone who questions his position. And we'll no longer get to watch someone jack a perfectly good thread into a self-serving platform for his views.

To the best of my knowledge, Asher was released after his week was up. It's his choice not to post. But then again, he's one of MtG's charges... so I haven't bothered to really look

But if he is showing in the member list... then he isn't under restriction.

Maybe Ming's biggest pet pieve is people who ask what his biggest pet pieve is.

If that were true then why the thread creator is still around? Naah, I think he is having fun, like the other "Ming appreciation thread"

Just to clarify matters, Asher recently posted this on another site:

Quote:
I was given a one week ban, and I just told MtG that I needed a break from the site, especially given the direction it was headed in.

My account will remain restricted forever, he's also under strict orders to ignore any pleas I may have to unrestrict it, which he agreed to.
He's happy where he is, and he's not coming back.

That's my take on it too.

Always hate to lose a member of the community to that type of situation.
