1. something in the Mesopotamia conquest. It's when you win by building a certain number of wonders.

2. I never knew this existed in the first place

ctrl-i is irrigate to nearest city. it has a button in the advanced action buttons if you have them turned on.

come to think of it, there are a few that i don't really know what they mean...what's build trade?

Are there many players who use the advanced worker buttons? Most of them seem pointless to me, as I'd rather coordinate worker jobs myself. I don't like automating them. However, there may be advantages I'm overlooking. Any thoughts?

the "irrigate to nearest city" command can be useful... the worker AI usually chooses a sensible path and you don't have to manually tell the worker to irrigate. the same could be said of the "build road to city" command, I suppose, but I never use it -- I prefer to lay roads myself.

the only ones i like are the auto pollution and auto rail to. it's nice to order a stack of workers to either automatically clean up all pollution or when you first get the ability to rail, send the stack off to lay lines to connect your cities.

i haven't really experimented with the others yet.

I don't use them at all. Manually control all workers at all time, too many bad experiences. AI sending workers to mine tiles outside of any city radius, sending them near hostile areas. Got a tile on the other side of the lake, whats that you say. That tile can only be reached by marching across a neighbors land, why worry?
Workers all sitting inside a metro with lots of other units and are bugger to get and move out? Yeah, I am not fond of the AI controlling workers.
