PTW UK Patch Question
I have the UK edition of PTW @ Version 1.14
Is this the latest UK version, if not please can you tell me where to get a UK patch that works for PTW....
I tried 1.27f but once I installed I was just asked to insert the disc to play!......... The disc has been inserted all the time.
Any help appreciated...

Sounds like your getting the wrong civ patch, as the copy protection issue is caused if you download 1.27f US version, for the UK version of PTW.
Im sure its in the civ3 archive somewhere

If you look on your CD there should be a number just below where it says Compact Disc. If the number ends in /2 you have a US version of the game not a UK one and so need to install the US 1.27 patch.
For some reason alot of US versions of 1.14 PTW were sold in the UK.
