How to make a Scenario more interesting....
...if the events files are all full?

That is my problem, I cannot putt more events into the events file, but I want to make exploring and expansion more interesting, profitable and attractiv, and also the ai tougher to beat and more "intelligent".

How can I achieve this? Without even more events? If you have event ideas please tell me anyways, perhaps I can implement them somehow still.

This dealing with a scenario about wiking expansion into the west, with the Norwegians and Danes.

How would you make things more interesting?

Thanks in advance.

I am already using multipile event files and changing them every 5 turns or so doesn't seem to be very good for playing if one has to continuesly change them back and forth.

That's why I am asking...

One way to save on space is to cut back on event descriptions. Writing text provides the bulk of the size of a scenario's event files. This probably wouldn't work for you, but my modern scenarios usually have event texts written as newspaper headlines. An example, from my "Cuba 2" scenario:

(Miami Herald, January 5, 2008)
MISSILE DEADLINE PASSES
War Imminent, Clinton Says

Too bad, all my texts are already cut as short as possible, just like yours. Oh well...

That idea comes a bit late. I mean, I am already in the middle of playtesting and wanted to release the scenario by the end of May.

However, my next one might be for ToT.

Why don't you include some natural units like "High sea" in the ocean, similar as in the SDC3 Odyssey scenario, and so forth.

You mean like Wahles, or event generateed storms or Polar Bears on land? Done that already. Well, thanks for all your help, but I found a solution.
