Ultimatum to China and USB from Lizard
Regretfully this pre-emptive action was necessary, given the Chinese impending threat in the Pacific. Azande intelligence is clear about this and all perpetrators of war will be vanquished unless these points are agreed.
1. Troop numbers must be kept under 100 with only around 10% attackers (advise is to disband any old units and have a crack force of 100 top units)
2. Science Rates and the building of improvements and Wonders (save Manhattans) must increase; for Azande scientists are receiving a strange signal on their SETI apparatus in Upper Azande – TAKE NOTE
3. No nations can be attacked and all normal civilian activities must resume – the weapons race must end! No retaliation on Azande.
4. In return all cities taken will be returned except a few key points for peace-keeping purposes
5. AND all cities undefended will not be taken so as to preserve the lives of civilians and their infrastructure.
This world stands upon a precipice. In addition Lizard asks all nations to adhere to these points for the sake of our world.
A posted agreement is required before the Azande call a halt to their advance…

Peace in our Time
The British cabinet gathers in London to listen to further reports from the Azande blitzkrieg invasion of China. Shanghai has just fallen to African howitzers. The men hang their heads in solemn respect for the war's dead, and in dread. All know Azande addressed their ultimatum to China AND USB. Despite having taken no aggressive act against Azande in the entire history of English civilization, this stark warning has sent chills through the USB leaders.
A long time passes and no one says a word. They knew the Azande were strong, but this was beyond their expectations. How could any nation stand up to such a force? Finally, President Musolini spoke, "This war, this terrible war must end. The Azande juggernaught cannot be stopped. I have met with Lizard, and she is in fact a quite reasonable woman. While these peace terms are indeed harsh. Not only for our Chinese ally, but the whole world, I think we must accept. The world has known too much war, too much pain, too much death. With this treaty I believe we have peace for our time."
The silence broke in the room. Vocal agreement and vocal disagreement was voiced by the cabinet members. The loudest attacks came from Secretary of the Navy, Winston Churchill, "The gravity of the events in China cannot be exaggerated. Ultimatum to China, USB and a warning to the world!
Regretfully the pre-emptive action of taking Urumqi is necessary, given the Chinese impending threat in the Pacific. The Chinese proposal is preposterous and it is clear they intend to attack Azande.
The Azande have prepared a full scale invasion of China if their Pacific plans proceed.
If China wishes to re-acquire peace with the Azande the following terms must be met:
1.Immediately disband all howies and post your Military Advisor's info
2. When able, redeploy all Armour across all cities as bona fide defence units. Yunnan must not have any Armour though
3. Return all ships to port except those used in trading
4. Make all efforts to dismantle Azande Trade Ban
5. Future troop numbers must be kept to a maximum of 4 defenders per city; PLUS ships and aircraft
6. Science Rates and the building of improvements and Wonders (save Manhattans) must increase; for Azande scientists are receiving a strange signal on their SETI apparatus in Upper Azande – TAKE NOTE

They didnt know wha tiwas that they saw, but they knew that the egyptian scientists would work it out.

Somewhere in rural China...
"It's been going on long enough, we must have peace. The countryside has been ravaged!!!" Screamed Deng Yangchao, he was a farmer but lately a makeshift partisan fighting Azande troops. Lately he had turned his attention to sedition.
The small room was filled with smoke, the odor of sweat and dirt filled the room as the tattered men clustered around a small wooden table argued the very same point; things were bad in China and they had to change.
They called themselves the People's Movement. They were dedicated to dismantling a government they saw as imperial, they referred to the working Chinese government of Dangime and his underlings as the 'Oligarchy of the Bourgeosie,' they blamed Dangime as the sole reason for the Azande invasion and had organized with the intention of invading Beijing and placing themselves (or like-thinking individuals) in the most important parts of government. They didn't realize it at the time but they were about to change history...
Beijing...
"General Mao, here are the field reports. They aren't good, and President Dangime seems like he's becoming closer and closer to signing peace with the Azande." His aide Yang Guifei said.
"Thank you Guifei," replied the General, he was tired and his eyes showed it. He wasn't quite old yet, but was nearing his middle age and was growing tired of his post as General. He looked over the reports; more losses, more deaths, the maurading inhuman forces of the Azande were too much to handle.
"Sometimes Guifei I wonder who they are." Thought Mao.
"I'm sorry sir?" asked Guifei, he was not paying attention at all, catching the latest news on the radio.
"The Azande, you know I am a man who loves to read. I read a lot of history," said Mao "I used to work in a library as a youngster."
"Yes," replied Guifei "I know, you've told me many times Zedong."
"Well, these Azande, not only are they the only other intelligent life form on the planet, but they believe that they descend from space. They believe that they are from another planet." Mao explained, looking out of the window; it was raining in the capital.
"That's strange..." Guifei trailed off into thought, "Do you believe it?"
"What, that they are creatures from space?" asked Mao.
"Yes, do you think they really come from another planet?" asked his aide.
"Well, if they had why the lapse in history? I've read many books about them, and there's no explaination for that. Its more of a religion to them. Most scientists think they just developed seperately down there in Africa. You know there are many strange creatures there, it would be in keeping with the biology of that continent. I doubt they are bonafide aliens Guifei, just biological anomolies." Mao said, he then pulled out a book and threw it accross the table.
"What's this?" asked Guifei "Das Kapital?"
"Its a book, I read it over the weekend. Its quite interesting, it makes sense." said Mao.
"Who wrote it?" Guifei asked "This is a European language."
"Its in German, its an um, English language I believe." Mao thought as he looked at the book "But were you aware that a lot of what he says in that book is going on here in China. Not only that, but there are many farmers who have started reading it, it pertains to factory workers though, and many of the farmers can't even read so the ones that can will adapt it to agricultural life." Mao explained as Guifei read parts of the book randomly.
"This is all economical stuff, you're into this?" Guifei asked.
"Like I said my friend, I read a lot." Mao said with a smile.
Guifei handed him the book, but Mao turned it away "No, read it Guifei. We must."
"I don't see why, it seems a little treasonous doesn't it. I mean, look right here. He says that only a revolution of the uh, what does this mean right here?" he said pointing at the page.
"Prola, uh, that says Proletariat, its another word for an industrial worker." explained Mao.
"Yes, he says they will rise up against the government and replace it with themselves. I don't understand how this has anything to do with farmers, or us Mao." Guifei said puzzled.
"Because, Guifei, we are losing a war. On top of that we are losing morale and our government is in shambles. The soldiers we do have only fight for their wages and intentionally get hurt so their family is taken care of by pensions." He shook his head, "This little book here is the key. This thing has the hearts of our men, we must use that to our advantage."
"I don't know General. What do you think President Dangime will think of this?" Guifei asked hesitantly staring at the book.
"I don't think it will matter what he thinks...." replied Mao.

............Out of a mist that had hung over them for waht seemed eons. the Egyptians gathered in their temples to pray to the Great Raz. Time had stood still and the Magic wouldnt go away. It was all blamed on the Azande Witchdoctors and the priests sacrificed much to break the curse. But now it was over and once again the Egyptians would rise up , it had been prophesised long ago, now it would come to pass....

Waking up in the middle of the night, President Mussolini stumbles out of bed and searches for a lamp. Everything was hazy, he feels like he was in a drunken stupor for months. All time is relative however. Fumbling in the dark, he still searches for the lamp. Then...
***BUMP***
President Mussolini bumps into his nightstand. "Ah, ****!" he exclaims, reaching down to rub his bruised knee. He finds the lamp and turns it on.
"What did I get up for again?" he wonders, "F'king 'ell, I gotta lay off the sauce."
President Mussolini stumbles back to his bed and passes out once again.
