Online MP and PBEM - C3C

Hi everybody,

I'd like to know if it is possible to start a game online with a friend, play it for an hour or so, save the game, and then resume playing later, by email.

I used to do this on SMAC, moving to PBEM when turns were getting too long, and I'm wondering if it would be possible in C3C,

Yes, I am sure you can do this. You might need to do some trial and error for the switch, but it should work.

You can absolutely do this - and don't need to make any special steps as far as I know.

I would load the game, the first time after you saved the game form playing on-line, under the 'PBEM' game menu in the MP screen just to be sure. Otherwise, you might get a look at what your opponents land has to offer by mistake.
