It's all worth it to have a cute wife though. They can't help it - they're women.

Yes well, there are many many benefits for putting up with this crap.

This was summarised well in the Everybody Loves Raymond when the grandparents were fighting and the grandfather admitted he needed to make it up with his wife because he couldn't sleep without the dragon lady beside him

I don't know, I don't expect to be with a supermodel, but I would expect to be with someone that I find attractive

I woudln't want to be with some woman that didn't find me attractive

Girl I was with was both super nice and also gorgeous. Maybe she is high maintenance and I just haven't found out yet.

Some dude at work said, "my wife is ugly now, she's going to look like a monster when she's pregnant."

terrible

I have a perfect detector for the high-maintenance types.

I grew up on a farm, and my mom keeps horses. Now, I'm used to the sight of manure and all, so I just take my boots with me if I ever want to go for a ride or if I have to feed the horses.

Did that once with a date, took her to see the horses, because I had to get everything done before we could take off for the night. She could not even stand to watch me tromp through the manure.

Calling women "chicks"? The horror! I will now gouge out my eyes in hopes that it will erase my memory of this unforgivable sin.

Sacrifice the boys for your own well-being. That's what they're there for. Any chore that can't be done by the boys needs to be hired out.

Yep. Funny how my brothers don't whine so much about their chores since I left.

Now they get to do what I had to do on top of everything else.

Well that could work but the second boy is completely useless and brilliant at avoiding active participation in any chore with his brothers. He has that amazing knack some people have of participating in a work party without doing anything to help and usually without being detected.

He's probably got a future in some sort of management role.

If I understand correctly Mrs. Horse gets put off at your presence and is always finding things for you to do and then gets irritated if you do them.......do I have it right?
