Problem with conquests with new Monitor
Just got a new LCD monitor - View Sonic. When starting Civ3 the resolution changes to 800 X 600 and the screen splits with the bottom moved to top and top to bottom. I have set the resolution of the monitor to all settings including the default 1024 X 768 and tried to start the game but no luck.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!

ps. I have Civ 3, PTW and Conquests loaded with all the patches!

Thanks
Bru

Look for the thread that has the ini settings. It may even be doc now in the patch or readme. One is for forcing Civ to use the desktop setting. Civ does not support 800.

Hi vmxa1 thanks for replying. I have entered the line KeepRes=1 to the Conquest ini but it did not have any effect.

What about the one that set the res, did that do anything?
If not I would contact Firaxis support.
