Mouse Speed

When playing CIVIII Conquests the mouse speed / acceleration is slower than the normal desktop - its seems a bit slower with no acceleration at all.

Is there anyway of setting it to be the same?

Also when I exit it seems thats its now faster on the desktop than before but that may be just an 'illusion' after playing with the slow speed for 4+ hours in CIV

I am not familar with that issue. I did see a thread about slow scroll that is top, maybe it has some answers.
Did you report it to Firaxis?
