Yeah. I'm typically MUCH further ahead in tech with a trading strat than I ever was before. I haven't built the GL in ages... just increases beaker costs by giving me dead-end techs I don't want.

The problem I have now is, (like rah) no matter how pure my intention to go to AC, it's hard not to beat the crap out of the AI when it gets annoying. It takes real discipline to stop short of AI annhiliation and get back to the AC path. The carnage is just too much fun!

Yep. I haven't seen AC since the sixth deity game I played, except for a couple of OCC games.
