I replied to this thread in the Civ 2 scenario forum, and I get one of those black dots on the forum icon, but it doesn't register me as being the last poster.

Can anyone explain what has happened here please?

I think I have seen that before. sometimes it doesn't update correctly. can anyone confirm?

Load-reducing measures on the server. It automatically stops doing certain updates when there is a heavy load.

I notice it more when I'm impatient and back/refresh instead of waiting for the server to finish. Of course, I only do this when there's a heavy load, so...
