After putting some more thought in, it becomes even more clear that Zopperoni is the gun killer, if Jon Miller indeed wasn't him:
Zop is the son of Jamski, the heir. Jamski rents one farm to Jonny's Family, i.e it is a farm for which Zop has a valid claim but cannot own. If Zop kills all of Jonny's family, Jamski will have no choice but to give it to him, for the farm to continue being productive.
Besides, a guy who shots two bullets in the head every time is pretty much skilled in guns. Zop is in charge of the windmill. Where could you possibly train with guns in another place than the only noisy and remote place of the village, i.e the windmill? Well?

Let's see, first victim was Spaced Cowboy, the crèche-meister. A can of beer was found next to the body
The second victim was Alva, found in his brewing bucket full of beer.
The third victim was RAH, the Fishmonger. No clue was given.
The fourth victim was FlameFlash, the firewood maker.
It is obvious this guy wants to destroy our economy and our long term thriving. And he drinks beer too. Now, who would want to provoke short-term despair in the village? Who makes business by relieving people? Who provides all these beers, and these "happy hours" we desperately need?
