Not in YOUR case, silly. It would be quite the opposite, in fact.
I think you are sadly mistaken on this fact. I have 2 votes so far, you have none. Therefore, by statistic proof, I have bested you to this point .

As far as a right-winger can be a good debater, I agree with your choices, BK. Perhaps I would have replaced Shi with Imran, however, because he's got more style.

I've been here for three months only. I've not had the time to impose my name.

And BTW, the competition for the left-wing is much coarser. You've got a much easier game going on.

"Might makes right" would be sufficient reason for me to vote against Imran.

I think an interesting thread would be:

Who do you fear the most to debate against on Apolyton? You can only vote for those whom you disagree with.

What an unfortunate place to have your face, Zylka.

I nominate Agathon, for tenaciously running logical rings around Asher- although that's not that difficult.

Boris G. for grace under fire, or underwire bras.

Imran for being quite the most polite conservative I know. However deluded his beliefs.

An honorary mention to my favourite idealist, chegitz of the revolutionary proletarian dialectic brigade, florida front.

UR: that whole editing spiel took you near 8 redundant post changes, countless UBB * ups, and the apparent indecision of a 6 year old schoolgirl.

Having only pity for an opposition of this caliber; it's time for this thread to again become lame. I have a sebacious cyst on my bumcheek to go drain, instead

Agathon gets DESTROYED by Asher in every technical debate

Asher has the distinction of actually knowing what the hell he is talking about

Asher wouldn't be a bad debater if he didn't let his loyalties blind his judgement so dramatically. He does posess a respectable level of knowledge regarding Technology. But he is just so devoted to proving every last aspect of anything Microsoft (or Intel) does to be right, and every last thing that Apple or Linux does to be wrong, that it is hard to take him seriously. This causes him to take often very illogical positions in a debate.

In fact, it has gotten so bad that I have learned to view the truth as the opposite of whatever Asher says regarding most computer matters. It's a shame really, because I suspect that he would have a lot of good things to say if he just learned to see things more clearly and not view every debate as a chance to try to prove his preconceived notions.

Let's see, in the past few days alone I've advocated Firefox over Internet Explorer and called MS' e-Stamp idea "stupid".

My PC has an Athlon 64 in it, and I think Intel is making a mistake by not having their 64-bit PC chip out to compete right now.

Got me there. Don't think Apple can do much of anything right. Perhaps getting the ball rolling on download stores, though they ****ed theirs up. But it gave the industry momentum.

Linux does very few things right. Though the 2.6 kernel is a substantial improvement for both desktop and server.

well, since the one who wins would be the master debator, let's set up a poll on deciding the person who manages to troll the best be the master baiter.
