how to correctly save a map
Okay, I posted before asking how to find the editor. Well, I found it thanks to help here and looking at the installation guide. Anyway, now I can't get my saved scenario to show up in the list of load scenarios. Also, I want to make a player's starting location a certain spot; I put down a starting location marker, but it was blue and not the name of any civ(unlike Civ II). How do I tie a particular civ to the blue marker? Thanks.

Right click on the start location and select reassign. You can then either mark it as Player1 or any number that is allowed in that map. You can also set it to a specific civ.

Naming you use the "save as" function (file) and give it a name. It will be saved in the scenarios folder for C3C.

You start a game and select civ content, it should be there.
