Why Can't I Edit my posts!

when I attempt to edit a post?
-Also, why did the notepad white out, did you accidentally delete the character?

Strange. It is only not working on a particular post I made in AC fiction, It works here. ???
Would posting from a different internet connection affect this?

Okay, the post is in "The Chiron Chronicle II" by myself and is the first one in which the year 2118 comes up... I was attempting to change the 2118 to a 2119.
