Okay, lets say I was going to run amock and create usernames and fake-emails; and you did not know I did it.
Would you delete the logins or would they be forever dead?

I think you'd be hunted down until they found a match, and your original login would be disabled. Your dls might either be deleted or permanently locked depending on whether its Ming, Mark or Dan.

That's would I'd predict.

You could do this say:

register: Santa Claus
email: sclaus@xxx.com

Then never post with him; this is a real problem and should be fixed.

I reckon if they just delete it, then somebody else could do the same thing. If they disable the login, then nobody could use it.

Yes, but the problem is this, lets say I register
100 people in 100 made up emails.
What do you do if they are good usernames- you should delete them, not merely disable them!

That reminds me, we used to have a DL of Faboba (or was it Probbka?) called Santa. He came to Apolyton only at Christmas for all those poor people who have nothing else to do at christmastime than to post to Apolyton.
