Shogun Total War
Ok, Shogun Total War is not released here in the UK until June 16th, but from what I've seen it's gonna rock.

Has anyone in the States got it?
Anyone already played it? Is it any good?

Even if it isn't I might just buy it so that I can build a ninja school!

Personally, Nobunaga seems to have gotten the better end...

If you ever saw 'Heaven and Earth' you can see when Takeda Clan was really powerful.

Seeker sure I've seen it! "Heaven and Earth"(Ten-to-chi-to) Uesugi clan was represented even more powerful.

Ok, I think I'll be purchasing this particular game then. As I said, I was already tempted, but I've heard nothing to deter my intentions.

While we're on the subject has anybody seen Ghostdog: Way of the Samarai? It's a top film, really good, I recommend it whole-heartedly.

Anybody Already seen it?

I was just thinking of the battle at the end of Kagemusha, not history.

All the Takeda die. No Nobunagas are killed.

I just have to say that Heaven and Earth had the best battle scenes.

Did you know it was made in Alberta?

Remember the vast fertile plains of Shinano and the Kawanakajima plain?

Good luck finding those in a natural state in present day Japan.

Alberta, on the other hand, still has masses of just plains and terrain and lots of cheap horses, + there's places where you can film and not see anything modern.
