anybody having trouble getting on battle.net?

I'm finally in the mood for diablo2 and I can't play. it was downloading a patch earlier tonight, but stalled out before it even began. now I get an error message. it says to go to battlenet/error messages but I can't even load the webpage. I think I messed up the patch by hitting cancel. but nothing was happening when it tried to download.

ok, I got it working but that lag is horrible. I was having trouble opening doors and couldnt' even talk to charsi for like 20 seconds. and I have a cable modem.
