When you have finished playing your turn you hit enter or click on "end turn". In the window that pops up click on "save and exit". You will now be prompted for a name for your save. I suggest you give it a name that contains the name of the game, the name of the next player and the year. This will be especially necessary if you are in multiple games to prevent you from sending the wrong games to the wrong players.
Next thing you should do is compress the saved game in a zip-file using a zip-utility such as Winzip or Powerarchiver. This isn't necessary, but it will be appreciated by most players, especially those with slower internet connections. Now you can email your (zipped) save to the next player and wait for the next turn to arrive.
