The 150 posts rule was introduced for reasons of server speed and script reliability, I believe. Long threads become very very slow to post in, and apparently slow down the entire server. Plus, in very long threads (500+ posts) the script would occasionally crash the entire thread, making it disappear altogether. A 150 limit is safely on the low side of all these problems.

Prophet cbn stared at the reports before him. It showed that the Cult was lagging in tech, territory and military but enjoyed the largest population on Planet. While industrial and economic development was slow, his people had responded to the Call for Procreation with a vigour. Even members of the Guardians of Planet religious order had sacrificed their vow of chastity in order to serve Planet. Peaceful growth should lead to a flourishing group of servants to Planet.

World events were beginning to worry the prophet, however. Chairman Yang seemed intent on declaring vendetta against half of Planet and was not environmentally friendly. The prophet had dedicated his worm forces to the active patrol of fungus in the frontiers to give ample warning of any approaching hostile force. Peace had been maintained among the remainder of factions.The prophet did not know what other action was available to contain a war that could potentially scar Planet forever.

" the prophet calls on all factions to use all means possible to dissuade Yang from his aggresive course of action. It is our hope that if all factions speak out against his actions, the Chairman will see the light and join us in peace and harmony."

Yang still shouts and yells about our Republic. Still, we need not worry about him. He has no navy. Right now we can just ignore him. Our chopper pilots report that Forman Q-tip has made a base on Yang's island. We are sending a offer to help, for a price.

Governor CBN has warned Yang. Yang disregarded this plee.
