as far as IP goes - if you create/host the game - players join your game under your ip. if you are joining another player's game - then u must have his ip.
as far as getting a game goes - im told they are posted here. also they have posted a list of players and their ICQ number which you can use to contact them and set up a game (its one of the top threads here). another option is going to
www.zone.msn.com. in there you will find a list of games one being civ ii. depending on time of day there is usually 15-30 players looking for a game. one other option is to send me an instant message on yahoo messenger - my id is bob_wland_2000 on yahoo - and maybe we can setup one.
