A MORE CUSTOMIZABLE RULES.TXT
HERE ARE SOME IDEAS FOR MAKING THE CIV MORE CUSTOMIZABLE

1: More customizable buildings. eg(rules.txt)
BUILDING, TASK, INCREASE, PRE-REQ, LIMIT*
Cathedral Happy +1 Temple No
City Walls Defence Land *3 Nil No
Supermarket Spec (Special type) Nil No
Stock Exchg Trade +50% Bank 10?

*Limits on the no of each type of building you can have. ie each civ can only have 1 palace, 10 stock exchange? etc.

2: More customizable wonders. eg(rules.txt)

Damage is the attack performed on the unit by the terrain per turn. Near is what the terrain can be substituted for. Basetype means can be substituted for an empty(unassigned) square.

COSMIC CONSTANTS
Labour production loss for inter-prod type change (0%-100%) default 100%
Labour production loss for intra-prod type change (0%-100%) default 50%
Materials production loss for inter-prod type change (0%-100%) default 0%
Materials production loss for intra-prod type change (0%-100%) default 0%
Moves on railroad (0 = infinite) default 12 (should be moves on road * integer)
Pollution capacity (0 to 1000). 1000 means enormous amounts of pollution are required for any effect.
default 100.
Mine Damage (1-100) attack strength of a mine. Default 10. (ADM / HF of 10,1,N/A / 1,1)

Interest rate (Needs 5 sig figs. From -100.00% to 100.00% per turn. Default 0%.
Interest cutoff (No interest past this point. Interest rate decreases linearly from 0 to here. 0=no cutoff).

(Interest can be set negative to simulate inflation) Interest cutoff for a negative interest rate is where interest rate is equal to the above set interest rate. Decreases(=negative increase) to 0 interest at 0$ linearly. (Amount of money needs to be stored as at least a longint. Preferably an 8-bit integer)

(Interest rates exceedingly high, and cutoffs exceedingly low, but you get the picture)

Help provides help on the original game settings. So if you change the science chain or the ADM of a unit, the help menu doesn't adjust.

It would also be nice to have a built in editor where you can edit all these plus the graphics.
