Find specific units
Is there going to be a way of cycling through a specific class of units? Like for instance, say I know I have a battleship harbored in one of my cities but I can't remember which city it is in.. will there be a way of cycling through all battleships to find the one I'm looking for?

Yes Please - I despair of finding the last mounted archer when I know it is fortified in one of 80 cities, and I want to ensure that another unit is there before I disband it...

Speaking of which, how about the option to upgrade units as technology permits? I want to convert my warriors to phalanxes rather than disband them and build new units.

This goes gold next month and you are expecting a feature to be added?

The Unit Manager lists all units individually, and can be sorted by any of its fields (of which type is one, of course). So you can see all your units of one type together, and double clicking on one will select it and take you to it on the map. You can also disband units directly from the window, and the list shows the city the unit is in, if any, so you can also sort by city to make sure something else is there without having to exit the window.

Hi Mr. Ogre,

Been awhile since we heard from you. That is really good news you gave us about sorting and finding units. Thanks!

Unlike many people on this board, I have found CTP to be a good game and well worth the money I put into it. I am looking forward to getting CTP2.

Wow.. that Unit Management screen is just what I'm looking for. Like the other poster said, I really enjoyed the first CTP game and I'm very eagerly awaiting the new version.

Fantastic. The more ways to get around, the better.

Oh, **Drool**! I've always wanted to be able to find the nearest Lawyer whenever I saw an enemy Corporate Branch somewhere in/near my territory. But I could never figure out how to tell SLIC to find and awaken my nearest Lawyer. So I ended up opening up the unit list in one city after another, hoping to find one....

As far as upgrading: Warrior -> Phalanx is not an upgrade, because you lose the radius-2 vision. But I do understand the basic point. (I play a fair amount of Freeciv and SMAC, both of which allow you to upgrade units for money.)
