So just how good is the Multiplaying aspect of CTP2?

Well, I expected Activision to actually "fix" CTP multiplayer functionality with the new release of CTPII since they never did with the patches...not the case!

As with the first release, multiplayer is almost impossible to play except with much frustration. It crashes often and keeps "RESYNCHRONIZING" on the slave machine frequently and unbearably. You will be quite PO'ed when you just take a city, get a resync message, and as the screen refreshes you notice that city you just took over is no longer yours!

More examples of frustration could be given, but that one should be enough!

Unfortunately I am a CIV fan...I guess we will have to wait till CIV III is released and hope for multiplayer or at least to see a "working" CIV product again...I have given up on the Call to Power Brand Name for multiplayer.
