How do I default to unit movement?
Hi,

I just purchased CTP2 and note a distinct differance between CTP1 nad CTP2. When ever a unit is selected, there is not no default action. In CTP1 the default action was move unit.

When dealing with even a small number of units, the need to press the green arrow to move quickly becomes quite anoying. As my civilation grows, I can't imagine how taxing this will be when I have 20 or 30 units exploring the vastness of a "gigantic" world map.

Is there any way to have my units default to "move unit"??

TIA,

sam, smyling at the pretty fx

Drag and drop. Click unit hold down the button and move mouse to desired location then let go of the button... Unit will begin movement to selected location.

Also, I find pressing 'm' very helpful. Unfortunately this key doesn't seem to be listed in the manual anywhere. Go figure. I also did not know you could drag and drop.

I have heard rummors of a "goto city" feature. Does this exist? I have not found a way to activate it.

goto city was in Civ2. I don't think it's in Ctp2. At least not documented.
