Commodity Detial
Can someone tell me what commodities fetch the greatest profite? And is I make a caravan support from my SSC do I get it's instant money trade value when the caravan lands?

I.E. Kiev has 1 trade and build a caravan, I send it to Moascow 200 trade, tell it to support from Moscow then send it off, What bonus do I get?

you get the bonus associated with the 200 city.Resupporting caravans is underrated.Dam good idea i think.

Commodities on the "right" side of the supply/demand screen are supposedly more valuable.

A "demanded" commodity is always best.

right side. That makes sense. Uranium, gold, oil, spice, and gems are on that side. they are the best. Silver and silk are decent. Hides of course are the worst.

Uranium is the commodity that returns the most profit. As you look at the supply & demand screen it is in the bottom right corner, the other commodities on that side are the next most profitable, followed by the ones on the bottom left, the worst being hides in the top left.

Elsewhere on these forums there is a formula for trade, it is worth trawling through.

The strategy guides have a somewhat different ranking of commodities than the "right hand side", but I have never checked it. Their ranking and additional bonus, assuming the destination city demands the commodity:
Uranium +200%
Oil +150%
Gold, Silk, Spices, Gems +100%
Silver, Wine, Cloth +50%
All else (no additional bonus).

hehe...I like the "on the right".Generally speaking top to bottom left to right.Good thing I didn't write the manual. It would be about 10 pages long.
