Why do I always face the same enemy civs?

Everytime I start a new 8 civ gigantic world game as the americans I get put up against the japanese, french, irish, english, scottish, germans and native americans. I have restarted several times, but I always get these same ones. It's annoying, is there a way to fix this? (I have 1.1 patch)

search the forums for your problem before asking and you'll probably find a response.

But you need to find userprofile.txt and change nonrandomcivs=yes to no

then only play on medium and above and it'll stay that way..

if it doesn't work, just search for the problem.
