Question on multiplayer
Can you now, like SMAC, do simultaneous turns? (I tried out CTP and it didn't have, atleast not with the patches around 6 months after release.) After playing several hundred hours of smac I find this to be an essential feature for enjoyable multiplay.

Can all players do their moves at the same time?

No, that option isn't available in CTP2. Sounds like a great way to play though, and I wish it were!

Dang, and I even went through the trouble of mailing their tech support about the idea when I first heard of CTP II... They failed to listen to my brilliance. Harumph, well, that settles the issues on whether to buy it or not. (I only play for multiplay, as I figure it will take about a week to beat the AI on the highest setting. And mp without the option for sim moves while in peace is just to slow. *sigh* I figure I've played to much 4X games. Give me Civ III!
