goody bug ?
So I'm roaming around in like 500BC with a bunch of warriors and stumble across a goody hut. Lo and behold, I now have knowledge of "Tank Warfare"

It sure helps your combat effectiveness when you can back up those hopilites and archers with tanks.

How do the goody huts work anyways ? Can you get any advance ?

As far as I know, no you can't. Normally the goody huts are in line with current technological advancement. Has any of the AI's have Tank Warfare?Did you modify your CTP2 program in any way? If you didn't, then hummmm. Have fun rapaging over the countryside in your new Tank!

I think I remember seeing in one of the files something about how many techs ahead a goody hut could contain. Since all civs are considered, i suspect its very possible for one civ to have found a far future advance and that a second hut could leapfrog even farther into the future. I can think of many times in CTP1 that distant advances were discovered.
