Ctp2 OCC
I'm not sure how many call to power 2 players have tried the One City Challenge from Civ 2, but I play Civ2 mostly so I decided to see if it could be done with Call to Power 2.

I'm still in the middle of my first game, just into the Genetic Age and I'm way ahead in score because of wonders, so I should be able to win. Of Course, I tried it on beginner level because I figured I'd be overwhelmed otherwise, and I'm not very good at Ctp2 yet.

My main city is size 45, and most of my research focus has been on the advances that alleviate overcrowding, plus the tile improvements and more efficient governments. I have a lot of the science wonders built an am generating about 4000 science in my city.

Well..easy enuff to do I reckon..if your saying you only build 1 city..period..then you would have to go to launch editor and disable settler & Urban Planner

Next you would have to go to ctp:2/data/default/gamedata/risks..and alter the file for ruins..which would mean putting a figure of .0 after the following two lines..

CITY_HUT_CHANCE 0.00
SETTLER_HUT_CHANCE 0.00

Your settings wont be same as mine when you open up this file..because I altered mine somewhat..

HINT..The following lines have to add up but not exceed percentages of 100...

BARBARIA_HUT_CHANCE 0.00
GOLD_HUT_CHANCE 0.00
ADVANCE_HUT_CHANCE 0.00
UNIT_HUT_CHANCE 0.00
CITY_HUT_CHANCE 0.00
SETTLER_HUT_CHANCE 0.00

4
RISK_VILLAGES_ONLY {
BARBARIAN_HUT_CHANCE 0.00
MAX_HUT_BARBARIANS 0
GOLD_HUT_CHANCE 0.45
MAX_HUT_GOLD 25000
ADVANCE_HUT_CHANCE 0.15
MAX_HUT_ADVANCE_PREREQUISITES 1
UNIT_HUT_CHANCE 0.20
MAX_UNIT_PREREQUISITES 2
CITY_HUT_CHANCE 0.00
SETTLER_HUT_CHANCE 0.20
MIN_HUT_GOLD 18000
