increasing # of civs?

I was wondering how to increase the number of civs in the games. Can someone tell me how to do it? I looked for it in the past topics, but i must have missed somehow. Because im sure its been talked about. But any help would be apreciated thanks.

Edit the first line of userprofile.txt. numplayers=X. X being the number of civs you want in the game.
