Diplomacy bug in MGE?
Some people call it a feature. For me, it is a bug.
The AI is extremely more aggressive than in the classic civ2 when playing single player.
I find this "feature" extremely annoying.
Lots of the scenarios included in the CD are just not interesting with this.
You start negotiating with the CPU and in the next turn the relationship level dropped to aggressive!

I have even tried with the cheat editor and changing the appreciation level. It just does not work. It changes automatically in the next turn.

Look, I know that lots of you love this because kicking the CPU ass is extremely fun and because she is such a stupid and blah...
I don´t like a complete war game. I prefer the pacific way, or at least the team way!
I do not like to play in a game where everyone hates me!

Yes!.It is very annoying. It does NOT make the game harder. The ai can't fight so why would it be harder?

What it does do is make many if not all scenarios unplayable.

example-I start the WW1 scenario included with MGE as Britain.Turn 2 I am sneak attacked by the Americans. So much for the scenario.Back to the usual conquer all game.

Bundling civ2,FW and CiC together was a complete waste of time and my money.

I think it is caused by the multiplayer aspect of the game. You can manually set attitudes in MP which I think wrecks the game

MGE for multiplay only.
