Does Sun Tzu + Leo = veteran untis?

I've yet to test it, but I was wondering, if you have both Sun Tzu and Leo, when the upgrade occurs, do the units become/remain veteran? The most annoying thing about Leo is when it upgrades but kill the veteran status. I HATE THAT!

No... Upgraded units lose their veteran status (if they had it).

But that's ok... the next time they are in a fight, they will be... if they survive
