Changes to Wonders
I was just reading the "Wonders: Who Build Them?" thread, and while responding I thought of a new topic: which wonders need improvement, and which ones need to be toned down? I don't think I ever built the Colossus except after 1000a.d. when I was going for the highest possible score (>350% on King). So, my nomination is the Colossus for an upgrade, and Adam Smith for a downgrade. When I had 40 fully developed cities, Adam Smith could easily get me 300 extra gold every turn. The only reason I don't put SETI here is the fact that by the time I had Computers, I didn't really have that much more to research anyway. Related topic: is there any Wonder you constantly found yourself struggling to get before the AI did?
