Emperor/Diety
large map
7 civs
raging hordes
restart enemy civs
bloodless bloodlust conquest before AI gets to AC

bloodless meaning that I only use offensive units on AI units outside cities (with the
exception of a troublesome, warlike capital)

of course once i start playing again, I'll probably try all sorts of new things (OCC for example) and experiment with other settings and stratagies (ie never played fundamentalist before)

A normal game for me is one that I have not done before (map size, winning parameter, OCC or not, barbs level, etc.).

Normal for me is:

Deity
Normal sized map
7 civs
Raging
Don't restart
Race to AC

Always trying something new, though.

A normal game for me now is an MP game.

If I'm going to play SP... it is one of the challanges, or I'm trying to learn something.

I'll even play single player in MP mode so I can test some different strategies for double production games

Single player at Diety.
Map is 250 in circumerence by 40 in height.
Large landmass with a variety of sizes. A wet 4,000,000,000 year old world.
7 civilizations with restarts.
Raging hordes.

I never build the spaceship. I rarely play until I conquer the world. If there is a goal I suppose it's to get all the technologies as early as possible while simultaneously having as much technological advantage as possible. This second requirement precludes a continual trade of technology strategy.

For variety I play 40 in circumference by 250 in height.

Lately I have been playing as Kolmogorov, the Russian.
