Your letter to President Hussein was forwarded to me to repsond in a most appropiate manner.

The people of Israel have always been a peaceful people and have only ever responded to actions or threats of actions from external sources. Having said that, we also are very pleased with the fighiting spirit shown by our young troops. Many outsiders did not expect us to achieve much in this war agaisnt a vastly superior sized foe. Our troops have shown that when you have a belief in rightousness behind you, you can achieve greatness.

Our crusade to convert the Muslims to Judaism or its offshoot Christianity has also progressed well. We hope the Muslim volunteers we sent to your Monasteries in Europe are accepting the conversion process as well as they are here in Israel.

Whilst we are hopeful of a peaceful resolution to the recent Mali uprising, we can never be sure of the long term results as who knows the Mali mind. Our greatest concern is any involvement from the Zulus, who have shown little ability to also maintain stable governemnts over the centuries. Hopefully their latest Parliamnet will be strong and persue a peaceful resolve to the situation. As they are your allies we would hope that you can utilise your influence to keep them out of any continuance of the war. We have made it clear, we wish no harm to the Zulu people, nor do we have any claim on Zulu land, but any friend of an enemy of ours, is also an enemy or ours.

We too are enraged at the treatment shown us by our Allies in our time of need. Fortuanlty we have manged to continue to win our war without their R&D. However we have made urgent request that they reverse this decision. As you state in your letter, this is a dig at Socialism everywhere, whilst they seemingly have no problems with Communism.

As for your refernece to India and its promise to be part of Israel, this too has been ignored by our allies. Their only response initially was that many citys were given to Chinese Communists instead. The Israeli people when made aware of this caused riots outside Australain Embassy in Jerusalem.

Speaking with President Hussein, he too wishes to converse with you, but his attention is solely on the Mali Uprising at present. Hopefully at the conclusion of discussions there he will be able to continue on to see your Preisdent himself.

If they concentrated and played it wisely, they could easily liberate all their fallen cities by the end of the next century. Israel is growing stronger President, but their foundation is weak and their troops are strung out and tired. If one were to hit them hard enough, their empire would fall like a line of dominoes."

The President acknowledged the Generals words:

"Indeed Shakeem, the Israelis are a small country and ill equipped to defend, but their soldiers are crazy and fight like madmen. Their dedication to their god is as a solid as a rock and they will do anything to protect their beliefs. For this reason, they are very dangerous and un-predictable..."

The General interrupted:

"Yes, much like that of a terrorist organization. You have of course heard of the suicide bombing attempt in Timbuktu. Had it have been a success, the results could have been disasterous for Africa. How are things down under. Unfortunately due to pressing urgent civil matters I have been unable to attend your pleasant country. This is a matter I wish to rectify in the not too distant furure.

However, this letter is being sent to you on much more urgent business. It has been advised to me by my chief of R&D Albert Einstien , that the Australian Government are no longer in a position to share with us their great achievements. I need not remind you Paul, that it was in some small way due to our open door policy of trade that allows you to spend so much on R&D. MALI/ISRAELI WAR ENDS
Timbuktu, Mali- With a number of Israeli victories through out the Nile Region, President Tuwanda made peace with Rabbi Rasputin of Israel. While the exact treaty is not known, we know that the entire population of the Democracy of Mali has converted to Judaism, and that there were strange land transfers.

The Israeli Government has received a small strip of three cities in North America, which puzzled Chinese officials when they learned that the Mali where no longer there neighbors. Israel also received the Mali’s two Caribbean Islands and the cities in the Nile Valley.

PEACE PROMISED BETWEEN CHINESE AND ISRAEL
Alliance, China- With the mysterious appearance of the Israeli wall (a strip of three cities running north to south in North America separating China territory form Mali) the Chinese Government has sent its warm greetings to its new Neighbors receiving a promise of peace, a Non-Aggression pact and an agreement not to fortify borders from the wise ruler Rabbi Rasputin.

WAR OF ADRIATIC SUCCESSION BEGINS: THE RETURN OF EMPEROR A.I.
Libya, Mali – Migrating East from China, to the Mali Emperor A.I. has now griped the Adriatic Empire in its grasp. Refusing to negotiate with Israel and the Mali over the city of Libya these two countries now showing themselves now to be best of friends launched an attack on the Adriatic Empire claiming to reclaim the Mali’s lost land when years ago (when Emperor A.I. ruled the Mali) the Adriatic League took Libya and two cities in North America.

Reclaiming Libya for the Mali, Israel also furthered its own position by taking the territory of Turkey. Further success by the Israeli is suspected but Chinese observers being limited to North America cannot confirm or deny this. In North America the war is non-existence but most along the border expect this is the calm before the storm.

Israel and Mali were not the only ones to declare war upon the AL as the Pacific Pact joined the fray… led by Mongolian mechanized forces the Pacific Pact easily took the border city of Orsoni. The Mongols whom where attacked long ago by the Adriatic League have waited centuries to exact their revenge have an undisclosed number of tanks and howitzers.

The Zulu’s have objected to the invasion of the AL but have not yet counter invaded militarily. Whether they invade or not remains to be seen as the conflict has just begun and the Zulus would be defending the AL from half the world. Officially the Chinese have declared their neutrality refusing to take part in what is rapidly becoming a world war. .

Alright, let's recap some of the more important events (that I am aware of)

*Nile War ends. In a bizzarre turn of events, the Mali, who had been virtually raped by Israel just years before, sign a peace treaty and eventually form an alliance. Insanity is the only explanation for the Mali's actions.

*Mali formally declare war on the Adriatic League and Zulu alliance. They liberate the AL held city of Libya. Other conquests not known, as Emperor A I, has failed to have communicated their losses properly.

*Mongolia formally declares war on the Adriatic League and Zulu Alliance. The northern outpost Orsoni fell to the vengeful Mongols. Apparently they had their own vendetta against the AL for actions in the past.

*Australia sends spies into Zulu territory without permission or provocation. Jula Kamma has to seriously consider breaking off the good relationship with the Australians that has existed since the beginning of time. Espionage will not be accepted in the Zulu Nation.

*Israel offers a peace treaty to the Zulus. Peace Treaty was failed to have been signed, as necessary requirements were no met.

*China joins an alliance with the Israel fundamentalist group. Apparently China can get along with everyone, including the un-predictable jews.

*Australia continues to pace the field in science production and the Pacific Pact continues to grow stronger and stronger.

This game is teetering on the verge of world war. The only country that isn't tied to a war is the country of China. The Pacific Pact declared war on the AL/ZULU alliance with Mongolias violent episode in the Ural Mountains. This pits Mongolia, Australia and Israel against the AL and the Zulus (through principle). With Mali's aggressive acts in Northern Africa against the AL, they formally have dragged themselves into a war with both the AL and Zulu as well. So let s quickly recap the (technical) war status of each nation:

The bad part about all of this is the fact that when Ras was gone I refused to play him as AI despite SOME of you clowns asking us to play without him.

And the thanks I get for it? Some goddam invasion of my country behind my f*cking back. That's what pisses me off the most, that's what gets on my nerves. Someone has a total f*cking HORRIBLE event in their lives they have to deal with, they finally get home and what the hell do they find out? Actually it wasnt Drake, it was me ... !!! although we all waited patiently for you to turn up or even send some form of communication for over an hour. Eventually I proposed to do exactly what you propoised when we couldnt get a Mali leader, let the AI take over. So seeing the precedent had been set we took a vote and voted to continue game. During the Mali AI leadership, you took advantage of them and took a number of citys in North America and also Libya in Africa. Whilts Mali were AI i only attacked one city which wa sdestroyed, which you took advantage of and built a new city (seeing we were at limit of citys) Then you organised a human for Mali and I continued my war agaisnt them , but now the human was here you stopped. But for each Mali town i Destroyed you built a new one, good tactic but obviously a very provocative one.

The diference with when I was absent was I let everyone know I couldnt paly that week, we had no communication form you.

Once we were in the game, the Mali and I formally ended our war and formed an allaince because we realsied we were suroounded by two vewry large nations and as in the British and French allaince at the start of the 20th century, those two nations had hated each other and probably still do to some extent, but they relaised they had to ally agsint the growing threat from Germans/Austrians and Hungarians. The same in this game. Mali and I spoke and realsied we needed to stand together or fall separately. So no real surpeise there. Especially after the australains stopped supplying me with techs.

Ok now to the AL war.. I felt the only correct response to the AL was to demand the towns back that they took during the Mali AI leadership. We immedialty took libya back. And to aid in the war in America mali and I organsied a city swap, they got 3 citys and i got 4 (I could have wiped out Mali any way) others have done similar things i note china was given many citys to help them early in game, Australai gave mongol city in SAmerica. Zulu gave AL city in Africa.

When AL launched a full invasion of Turkey (now Khurdistan) we repsonded quickly and took Bospurus (Now Turkey) We are willing to negotiate the return of Turkey to Adriatic League when they return the citys in America to Mali.

As for Mongols attack, that is separate issue, totally unrelated to Mali/Israel war on AL. The Mongols feel they have much to repay the AL for.

The Israelis are willing to get peace back in hte land , all we are after is Malis rightful territory.

As for Drake , his Zulus immedialty on invasion of Libya, declared war on Mali and israel, so he did right thing by you Capo.

If you choose to not return it just shows how immature you are. You seem to have two rules, one for other players like Mali, and one for you.

At present you still have more citys than before the Mali v AL war two session ago, so you reaaly cant complain. If you return you will find your nation still as strong as it was, having lost probalby less than 10 units toitally and only 3 citys. We have not "picked you civ apart" as you claim.

Come basck and show us you are a real man, a man of honour and fight the Mongols back.... Israel and Mali are already trying to negotiate peace....

otherwise I am sure we could get a good player to take over AL. it is still in a good position ..

I really got mixed feelings about you Capo.

On the one hand your stories and energy are fantastic.

On the other, I have been getting a sense of it that you've been looking for a way out of this game for weeks. You seem to relish the ancient history part but don't seem so keen on the actual civ game as we near the modern era.
What you've done is just as bad as anything EASTHAVEN or Dimbleby or Sun Tzu have done - IE not shown up without any pre-warning at all.
I mean how hard is it to get to an online puta to just post a message for God's sake. I could do it anywhere I'm likely to be in Australia. Why can't networked Americans do it??

So, after weeks of you turning up the latest and totally screwing up a few other weeks you just didn't show up at all this time.

This game is teetering on the verge of world war. The only country that isn't tied to a war is the country of China. The Pacific Pact declared war on the AL/ZULU alliance with Mongolias violent episode in the Ural Mountains. This pits Mongolia, Australia and Israel against the AL and the Zulus (through principle). With Mali's aggressive acts in Northern Africa against the AL, they formally have dragged themselves into a war with both the AL and Zulu as well. So let s quickly recap the (technical) war status of each nation:

Huh?!? Last I remember, I haven’t signed an Alliance with Israel, I said Non-Aggression/Peace treaty, in other words we wont make hostile movements toward each other and no fortifying the borders that’s all. The Chinese are a neutral power, the only non-Aligned power.

First of all what happened to me and another person on the day I missed this game was unavoidable, I am not going to talk about it but I had no way of informing you guys before we started.

Secondly I was probably out of line with most of my comments, but they were my true feelings so if you want to blast me for my true feelings then do it, I can't defend them other than say they were real.

I am not going to go into who was wrong or right, I still feel that my position is correct but since I hate Apolyton's retarded politricking I will not entertain any arguments. I'll just admit that I may have been wrong and leave it at that.

Deity is wrong about what he said, I am far more interested in modern history than ancient, at least roleplay-wise.

Deity is right about me not having interest in this game though. Ever since Chris left everything has been backstage civ garbage, and I'm just not really into that stuff. I like diplogames to be up front, its just my nature, I'm not complaining just saying that I wasn't compatible. Chris was the only thing that kept me interested in the game, I didn't realize it until he left and feel like a moron for basically kicking him out behind his back.

Despite this I did really want to finish this game because it is/was going to be my last civilization game ever. I can't play anymore because of my new job. So I dunno what I'm going to do, I really hate picking up roleplaying when my stories aren't in synch with what's going on. I don't care about losing cities, you're right that the "civ" aspect was never my fondest part of HOTW, but this also means that a lost city isn't a big deal.

I guess I'm saying I'm out of the game, but I don't want to see it fall. There's not much I can do about it right now. I promised Chris when I spoke with him about this last night that I would just ignore the entire incident and let it go, but I don't want to do that to you guys cuz you really stuck it out for me and took a lot of crap from me and helped me create a damn good Diplogame. The only reason I'm really writing right now is because I basically like to run my mouth.

I'd love to come back and try to revive the AL, we've taken the most beatings the entire game despite the bullsh*t propoganda the PP dishes out, and we've done it all on our own. I hope the new leader of the AL is as tenacious as the first. Tell him that the AL's national character would never let the Mongols, Mali and ugh, the Israelites put it down for the count.
