I first met LightEning in the Civ III ideas section and we exchanged several ideas for Civ III. (Or at least I think I did? ????

He wrote, for a time, in "The Chiron Chronicle" a series in the AC-Fiction section chronicling the AC factions' lives on Chiron.
He also posts in the "Apolyton" section on occasion.

In September he spoofed Urban Ranger's username and changed his name to Rural Ranger and elicted many laughs for his 'zany joke'

He has been sighted at Sidgames.com and used to post a lot in the Alpha Centauri section there.

Later when he moved to Apolyton he spammed and was banned numerous times.

Fast_Eddie changed his name to ghen because

Description:
I first met Dracon when he was looking for a good name for his new rock music group... I'm not sure what he settled on, however.

Dracon owns a Civ II site that had some good material and a spam forum that is little used.
The forum even has a "Spam" section for people to purposely spam in. Paul Hanson overused that part of the forum and made over 99 topics with trash in them.
The site and forum are abandoned now.

He owns the Civworld forums which did not succeed against Apolyton and have since rotted with only phoenixcager and Michael Jesczenka posting there irregullarly.

Fallen Angel Lord was a humorous poster who stopped posting regularly in December 2000.

In January 2001 he 'Transcended' and changed his name to Master Angel Bob and posted everything as if he was an agent of God... Perhaps he was... we may never know?

He now mostly posts at CivFanatics and is working on a story there. He has printed a small excerpt of it on the site.

He is an Ethnic Chinese who lives in the United States and wrote a lot of Ancient Chinese Military History on the site.

onepaul and myself did not get along well, but he did teach me an interesting thing; that I should not casually insult people. Through his insults I learned that I never wanted to be callous and not think about other's feelings.

I am not sure if onepaul meant to be insulting, hopefully he did not, however, he was a great teacher of how I should behave on Apolyton, and for that, I thank him.

I am Eroberer, and I've been Eroberer on here for almost three years now. I am most definitly a Canadian, I hail from the fine city of Calgary in the even finer province of Alberta, the closest thing to God's Country this side of heaven.
I have been described by some as the Canadian Texan, that explains my political beliefs far better than I could or would want to.
Blacktide was a joint creation of YYYH and mine back in May 1999, we were going to make an anti-semite but decided to make him a Frog hater because it would be much less controversial, besides Joe was around so that niche was filled.

During July 1999 Blacktide was banned many times for swearing and cursing his head off when they permabanned YYYH and Spink. Later when YYYH was gone I decided to start making up fake histories about how the Frogs would surrender to anything that could breath.
I stopped posting in Apolyton sometime near the end of 1999 as I was quite involved in Thirdwar and found there were far too many newbies around for my comfort. I occasionally posted for Reismark's football pool but for all intensive purposes I stopped posting here. Now I mostly lurk a few minutes a day and if i see a thread I like I read it, but I rarely post.
I can be found at the Frontier these days, with YYYH, Coug, Comrade Dan, Evil Capitalist, Mao, Polaris, Fjorxc (Fjorxc the Maniac/Forks N' Freerunner), Ghen (Fast_Eddie), and a bunch of other vets who left after Stories went the way of the dinosaur here at Apolyton.

Later however, I learned that he still lurked in the Apolyton forums as "Magyar Crusader", but I did not believe that Mark and Dan would allow a DL to roam free, so I did not contact him.

In December 2000 or so, his excellent Civ II website disappeared and I searched for Michael to try to contact him.
I found him on Master Angel Bob's website and attempted to talk to him; but he did not return to the forums there.

Eventually, In May 2000 he returned to Apolyton under his original username and asked it to be changed- then he disappeared and I could not ask him where his website had disappeared to.

Very very conservative. Also very very Christian. Used to loathe Turks. Still loathes Rumanians. He was often banned and flamed by other posters on Apolyton.

Most people hardly ever see a post by Mao. He is the master of spammy posts, posts with little content and that just seem to fade into the background.
Mao is a poster of few words.
I first heard of Mao when he reached Deity level (the first time) and was disgusted, I posted on all on-topic forums except for the CTP ones and I had never seen a post by him at all. Then I discovered the Off-Topic.
He lost his Deity status first when a PCR of 1000 posts hit him (or 10%) then he regained it and a forum bug reset his #of posts to 0. Mark fixed that and returned to him 10100 posts and he was a deity once again.
Longtime owner of the Coffee Shop.
He posted for a while, then disappeared to "The Frontier" an online story forum with "Chairman Milo" (Who has since disappeared) and "Shadowstrike" as well as other Apolytoners.
He sometimes posts in the Scenario League.
His username was chosen because Mao was an ally to him in a Civ II game.

Actually Mao made posts in SLeague and other places, it was just that he had a way of fading into the background..... Ironically, Mao does not have the highest post count, or even close to the higest post count at the Frontier. You should take a look as some of the blatent spam OT threads.....

I have the longest thread ever created in the OT on a single topic. It's called 'What is the Best MBT' and it's archived. Around 1000 posts.

Arrainged the first ever official date between two Apolytoners w/ my thread, 'Apolyton Personals'. The Apolytoners are Tiamat and self biased. They are still together, though it's been sometimes a rocky road, and Tia is expecting.

This thread is also archived.

Came up w/ 'Get Civilized', the first place slogan that appears on the new Apolyton T shirt.

The banning of AH occured after he called me a few choice things after MarkG gave him the title 'mega troll'. (He got this by fighting against the Apolytoner's House) In response I called him a few choicer things, to make the point that it doesn't feel very good to be called things by a guy 10,000 miles away when there is no possibility to react. (Certainly doesn't take alot of guts) While I was driving home this point he posted a private message, which is what got him banned.

Also, AH won the Apolytoner of the Seaon for the OT, Velosorix (sp) won it for the site, beating out AH by a narrow margin.

Was AH really the one that ratted out area 25 there DarkCloud? I didn't know that.

The Apolytoners house is up and providing refuge for Karen and her Mom, Sofronia, and her Mom's two other children. They were very poor, and suffering psychological abuse (at least) at the hands of Sofronia's sisters husband. Karen is the daughter of Sofronia and Terry Mills. Terry Mills is a Canadian who abandoned Sofronia, his wife, while pregnant w/ Karen. As the Philippines is a third world country, what they must have endured until Apolytoners came along is beyond my imagination.

I don't hate the young man, Colon, what I dislike is ignorence and arrogance, two items we often find here in equal measure.

And your description is about right. I still haven't gotten my corrections put in. I'm tired of everybody telling DC not to worry about the quality and how great it is just to have a list. It would be pretty easy to methodically take care of lots of the corrections and check lots of the facts and it's not being done.
