Unique Unit Possibilities?
So far, we only know a handful of unique units. Any guesses as to the rest?

We know:

Americans (F-15 Fighter)
Romans (Legion)
Greeks (Hoplite - I hope this doesn't replace the Phalanx unit, because Phalanxes were just regiments of hoplites (individual spearmen))
Russians (MiG)
Germans (Panzer)
English (Man-of-War)
French (Musketeer?)
Japanese (Samurai)
Zulus (Impi)

That's nine civs with units. That leaves seven more without. Here are some guesses. First, the 4 other proven civs.

Indians (War Elephant)
Iroquois (Brave)
Egyptians (Some form of Chariot)
Chinese (either Chu-Ko-Nu [ripping off Age of Empires II] or the odd Chinese horseman unit from the CivII:CIC Mongols scenario)

And now for the unconfirmed civs -

Spanish (Galleon)
Aztecs (Eagle Warrior)
Persians (Immortal)
Babylonians (Some form of ancient military - no clue, though)

Mongols, if they're even in (Mangudai/Elite Cavalry)

Any ideas, folks?

Well, I don't know about the unconfirmed, but there is a possibility that several of the more popular civs (eg. americans, english) will have two unique's. For example, the Abrams tank, it is obviously going to belong to the americans. And there has also been rumors of a longbowmen, if there is...there is no doubt it will be an english unit.

those are just possibilities, I am not stating anything confirmed.

I don't think there will be two unique units for certain civs. First of all somebody is going to cry foul. Why should some civs get two but not others. That plainly makes no sense. Secondly, given that there are only 60 some odd unit types in Civ 3 it's stretching it to give one unique unit to each civ, let alone two.
