Can an enemy CIV be forced into peace?
One thing that always bugged me about Civ2 is that other CIV's would gang up on the weakest CIV.

Does anyone know you can expand your CIV's influence to stop two other CIV's from fighting (basicly threaten the invading CIV to back off)?

civ3.com is awesome! What an improvement!!

No, I'm not sure if you can. It would be cool if you could do that. If there was a way to state that you would break your free right of passage agreement if to the Romans if the Romans decide to attack the Indians. There could be other reactions but having some type of stipulation would be very nice to have included in a pact or treaty. I doubt it will be this way but it's still ok to dream.

Is that more difficult than to strike new paths, fighting the habitual, experiencing the insecurity of independence and the frequent wavering of one’s feelings and even one’s conscience, proceeding often without any consolation, but ever with the eternal goal of the true, the beautiful, and the good? - F.N.
