Democracy can sometimes be to nice
how come since i started usin demo the option to demand stuff is gone?

Demo and republic don't have the ability to demand tribute. You can still "request gifts" from your allies, though.

Those were war reparations. No way to set that up in Civ II. Those two governments are "too nice." At least in Civ II they are.

it's actually the reason why my gold treasure magically increases short before I go into republic - aggressive tribute demands to the AI, knowing there won't be any chance to demand tribute for 4000 years
