this list desperately needs an update. I'm fairly sure the Spanish took over the Mongols long ago.

Who ever is making the list - best to have a "last updated" thing underneath it, so we know how up to date it is. Doing a great thing here by the way

I guess that means 'As long as the Poles are in, I don´t care about the rest'.

IMO, the significance of this poll is dwindling rapidly.

First: It is Locutus that makes the list.
Second: Locutus stated before the Poles discussion that he would be without access to the Internet for the weekend and therefor couldn't update the list.
Third: Lucutos writes the name of the last voter counted in the updated list when he updates it. You can also read the last edited ... text in the bottom right corner of the post.

Why? Just because the Poles are advancing progressively on the list?

Maybe because the only people that register just to vote just votes Poles +20 I maybe should ask some friends to came here and vote Neanderthals +20 and nothing more.

Gramphos: ONCE. AGAIN. THESE. PEOPLE. ARE. NOT. MY. FRIENDS. AND. THEY. ARE CIVERS.

Now is that clear or should I put that out in boldtype? What don't you understand? That we have Internet connections in Poland too? That we have a large civing community?
I've laid out the facts. Get over with it.

I'm not questioning you. I'm just trying to understand what lockstep meant, but boldtype could help. Do I need to write clarifications for my use of smilies?
And what I meant was that It is only people (should I say civers) from Poland that registers and votes just for one civ. I believe that there are civers in other nations that don't bother to register to vote, but you poles seem to have no problem with it.
I never said that they were your friends, but there are other apolytoners from Poland that might have friends. (Not using any smilie)

Finally my answer was meant to be fun, as my original vote for the Neanderthals (that I no longer support).

[Poland? ]

for Me being lacking are Poland, Mongols, vikings [and maybe one more...]

I truly miss Vikings, Incas and Mongols.

I maybe should reformulate myself:
The only people that seem to register just for voting purpose are from Poland. I don't think a Swede would register for voting in this kind of poll without having interest in posting in the forums also.

Let's leave this matter or create a new thread addicted to discussion of votes in the Expansion Pack Civs POLL.

Gramphos: I was mainly replying to your first sentence and it was decorated with a "rolleyes" smiley, which, AFAIK, does not signify humour.

If their nation deserved a spot and was behind the Eskimos I bet they would have .

Since Master Marcus talked about democracy in this thread, I'll also give my $0.02 in the theme:
The first and foremost jurisdical principle in democracy is presumed innocence.

Well, in my book (the New Oxford Dictionary of English that is ) it's "the use of irony to mock or convey contempt". Hence, hardly a kind of humor.

That is actually the real reason why I used the rolleyes. I and many other uses rolleyes when saying something that only partly is right.
But let's leave this subject now. (Oh and the was for the entire post)

In Denmark most humor is either ironic or sarcastic - believe it or not! Actually it can be quite hard to understand for foreigners, and they often get offended.

The same applies for Sweden, at least for the young generation.
