Didn't read the TIME magazine article...Here it is
The title was: Imperial Ambition

Quote:
Unlike movies, PC Games tend to get better with each incarnation. Sid Meier's Civilization III is poised to become the pinnacle of achievment for what is rightly regarded as the greatest strategy title of all time. Players guide a fledgling empire through 4,000 years of expansion and technological change, just as before, but now can also trade luxuries with rival empires and build a culture. The more libraries and temples, the wider a city's influence. History has never been so addictive.
This just gives a little summary of the game.

It also shows a picture of animated Jeff Briggs as military advisor with the quote: Civilization III culture is the key to this society.

That is all that is to the article.

This information about Civilization III in the Time Magazine was originally posted by Shawdowstrike. This is simply a thread showing what was on page 90 of Time Magazine!!!

4000 years of human expansion?

Did Time make a misprint or is Firaxis cutting out the entire A.D. time period?

Page 90? Pity my version of the magazine only has 80 pages in it...
