It's amazing that Provost would keep coming back here to proudly display his ignorance. j/k

I forgot to play over the Labor Day weekend but I'm 3 for 3 so far, but there is really no way one can win if you skip a day or two.

I agree that you cannot simply be on top if you miss just one day's question. I missed a 10 pointer because it is the first days of college for me, and you know what fun can pop up during college. I coulda be tied for first, but now i am the only person in second just 10 points behind the other which makes me feel pretty darned special.

Oh well. At least this is damned fun to do everyday. Plus we might get some kinda recognition from Fraxis too. They should anoint us as the 'Acolytes of Sid Meier' or something meaningful like that.

i doubt it

october is far away with one question per day and i'm sure that many of those who are now first will miss a few days....

Besides if the questions continue to be as hard as they have been, then those at the top will stay confident and go ahead and answer what they think instead of looking the answer up. It will be a mistake, I know I have missed ones that I was able to find the answer to with a minute of looking but I went with what I thought. Which since I can't win, I will continue to do.

Well, I got luck and the last three were familiar to me.... A passing interest in history can get you places in CivTrivia.... except maybe the top, that is.

hey, you guys are almost spoiling the answer !

but indeed, they didn't inhale anything but the gasses from the vulcano itself

Firaxis sometimes accepts strange answers............
Dan Magaha....... when will all people that answered 'intestines' on the 3rd question get their points......... after all that answer is right as well ! (check your history books)

anyway, I still like the trivia, eventhough I have to accept 29 people to have a higher score than me

I'm getting higher and higher on the list ;-)
hoping that more and more people will drop out........!

Didn't miss any question anymore after the intestines debacle.
Thus lost 70 points in total.

Today's question is easy for a hardcore christian like me
It's more like a bible quis !

I can't believe it. I haven't been checking this thread nor looking for answers because I thought I'd see how much I actually knew/(could guess). It feels like I've answered about 10 questions but I still haven't got one right! I should at least be getting 25%!! Looks like I suck.

The early questions gave 30-50 points.
I missed two of them and lost 70 points for that reason !!!

Right now all questions are 10 or 20 points and rarely 30.
I'm 70 points behind because I just got unlucky by missing high value questions

And one of them was even unfair because there were 2 right answers

anyway, I'll keep on hunting down the #1 guys
