Trade question

Just curious: I know a city can't have more than 3 trade routes of its own, but is there any limit to the number of routes you can establish by sending caravans into a city. For example, if I have a 10-city English empire, could I conceiveable have 30 trade routes with Paris? I've checked the GL and done a site search, but I can't seem to find the answer to this one. TIA.

yes.
You can have all routes to your capitol for example.
..or,and a good idea,all your caravans/freights to 1 foreign city.Pick one with high trade potential.They get 3 routes,you get many.
