Battleview Fix
Battleview fix by player1

Installation:

Just put file it in
..\Call To Power 2\ctp2_data\english\uidata\layouts\
folder

Fixes:

battleview when attacking ocean cities:
-before it showed some mix of ocean and artic tile
+now it shows ocean tile (ala CTP1)
battleview when attacking cities on dead tiles:
-before it showed some mix of dead and artic tile
+now it shows dead tile
battleview when attacking on sand dunes tile:
-before it showed plains tile
+now it shows desert tile

I don't think people really notice the battle view
Its a shame really. (Then again whe you're attacking so often every turn cos the AI sucks so badly, the view can get annoying)

If I am right AIs doesn't ever retire from battles. Battlevieew enables this possibility to human player. Why should human player retire if AIs can't do that?

So now humans are not retiring... Why should we then have the battleview? It only visualises very poorly your battle. You would maybe like to watch it few times but then you have seen all you have to see. Poor, could I use word ugly, graphical presentation of the battle. That should be removed totally.

I think it is possibile to remove retiring button.

P.S
Has anobody ever attacked AI's ocean cities?
Battleview looks ugly without this fix. (ugly mix of polar and ocean)

AI's don't have ocen cities (AI is stupid, or destroyed before that)

Ahh thanks

But actually I have had only 5-10 hours per week time to play with computer. Now I am considering to change my work so that generates a lot of other things to think.
